Manager - 3D Cloth and Simulation
Job Responsibilities
As a leader of the AI Data team, you will be responsible for the team development, forming robust structures and frameworks for better productivity and leading the team in a way that aligns with the values and vision of the organization. You will also work closely with the R&D team in order to ensure timely and uninterrupted creation of the training datasets. You will be responsible for driving the initiatives and workflow on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for the curation of trendy and aesthetic apparel from internet databases and approval after the team converts those into 3D assets.
What will you do:
- Lead a team of skilled, energetic and dedicated young people with diverse backgrounds.
- Work closely with the R&D team and understand their requirements in order to provide them with the training datasets for the development of AI.
- You will also work in close tandem with other 3D leads in order to understand the functioning of the teams and collaborate towards the product roadmap.
- Manage, plan and improve the process flow of the team working on the production of the datasets.
- Understand and identify the best software and workflow for smooth, fast and timely delivery of the datasets.
- Be responsible for driving the conversion of 2D apparel images into 3D and get those rendered as training datasets.
- Be responsible for day-to-day activities and productivity of the team.
- Understand and resolve the efficiency and scalability issues.
- Research and keep the team updated with the latest trends and developments in the fashion industry, especially related to 3D, AR, XR.

The position will be based in Bangalore and you will be a part of the 3D Platform Delivery team and will report directly to the VP - Platform Delivery.
What we look for:
- Graduate, preferably from a top-tier design college.
- Someone with knowledge of apparel CAD and 3D software like Clo3D, Marvellous Designer, Maya, etc.
- Should have knowledge and understanding of garment patterns and garment construction.
- Should be well-versed with the jargons and vocabulary used in the fashion industry.
- Should have at least 2 years prior experience of leading a team of at least 5 people.
